About the Russian Energy Week (REN)
The International Forum "Russian Energy Week" (hereinafter referred to as the Forum) was established by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2026-r dated September 27, 2016, taking into account the changes introduced by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 438-r dated March 16, 2018.

The purpose of the Forum is to demonstrate the prospects of the Russian fuel and energy complex and realize the potential of international cooperation in the energy sector. The forum will become a platform for discussing the main challenges faced by the energy sector of the economy and current development issues:
- gas industry;
- oil industry;
- coal industry;
- petrochemistry;
- electric power industry;
- nuclear energy;
- hydropower;
- power engineering on renewable energy sources (RES);
- energy saving and energy efficiency improvement.
The event is traditionally held at the highest level with the participation of the leaders of the largest companies in the energy industry.
As part of the Russian Energy Week - 2022, it is planned to discuss the development of the electric power industry, oil and gas, chemical, gas and coal industries, as well as topics related to import substitution, digital transformation, energy transition and the situation around climate issues. The business program has already included 37 events in various areas of the agenda.
The main events of the program are scheduled for October 12 and 13, in particular, the REW-2022 plenary meeting will be held on the first day of the Forum. October 14 will be Youth Day.
The Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation with the support of the Moscow Government.
History of the Forum
The forum has been held since 2017 and managed to acquire the status of the main event in the field of energy efficiency in Russia and abroad.

REW-2021
In 2021, Russian Energy Week events brought together 2,500 participants from over 80 countries. As part of the business program, 32 events were held with the participation of 204 speakers.
