Skolkovo medical cluster opens in Moscow

In the medical cluster in Skolkovo, a medical center is opening, which has no analogues in Russia. This was stated by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin during a joint inspection of the new clinic with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

From September 5, everyone will be able to undergo comprehensive or oncological screening programs. Separately, you can check the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract and other organs. Remote consultations of doctors will be available to patients. In addition, during treatment they will be accompanied by personal coordinators to help resolve all issues.

One of the best and oldest clinics in Israel, Hadassah, became the operator of the clinical diagnostic center, said Alexander Gagaev, deputy director for the medical part of the Skolkovo international medical cluster.

More than a hundred specialists will be attending the new clinic. A significant part of the staff are Russian doctors. They will be able to serve up to 70 thousand patients annually. It is important that patients will now enjoy world-class medical services in their country, Dmitry Medvedev noted.

The clinic will organize scientific and educational activities. It is planned to conduct research, give lectures, and conduct training courses for doctors there. Russian doctors will be able to receive training in Israeli clinics in such areas as oncology, radiation oncology and molecular genetics, Sergei Sobyanin said.

By 2020, a therapeutic building will appear next to the Hadassah Clinical and Diagnostic Center in Skolkovo. His main specialization will be the treatment of oncological diseases. Patients will be able to undergo multi-stage treatment, rehabilitation and preventive medical examination.
