Day of Internal Affairs Officers in Russia

A solemn event dedicated to the Day of Internal Affairs Officers in Russia took place at the Internal Affairs Directorate for the city of Sochi.

The police received warm words and wishes from Major General of Police Sergei Ogurtsov, deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Krasnodar region and head of the Internal Affairs Directorate for Sochi, Konstantin Chebotar, deputy head of Sochi, representatives of the Sochi City Assembly, law enforcement agencies of the city, representatives of the Cossacks and the clergy.

At the end of the event members of the public and distinguished officers of the Sochi police were awarded with certificates of achievement. Ruslan Vartanya, security officer of Pharaoh Group, received commendation for vigilance and bravery in assisting the Department of Internal Affairs in Sochi during the arrest of an armed offender in MoreMall shopping center.
