Moscow City Day 2015

Pharaoh GC traditionally provided security for some of the Moscow City Day events.

Chistoprudny Boulevard was a venue for a big concert program that included performances of Boris Pevzner’s Moscow Choir Theatre, Moscow State Academic Chamber Choir, Novaya Opera Theatre, Male Chamber Choir conducted by Valery Rybin and Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre.

Pokrovsky boulevard became a creative space. The citizens could participate in many exciting workshops on drawing, molding, felting, doll-making and traditional arts. The boulevard also hosted a two-day mass outdoor painting session and painting master-classes. Everyone could learn still-life and landscape painting under the guidance of professional artists.

In Sokolniki park the main festive events took place on Fontannaya and Festivalnaya squares. Jazz musicians from Russia, Europe and the U.S., along with actors of Moscow theatre workshops took part. The jazz program included the performances of Igor Butman and his orchestra, Alina Rostotskaya and Jazzmobile, Charlie Armstrong. The theatre program included Meyerhold centre, Lande Project acting workshop and the M.S. Schepkin Higher Theatre School (Institute). Also, KupiVip.ru organized its third and final offline sale. Despite the rain, the company’s pavilion was crowded. A lot of people wanted to take part in competitions and trivia games, take photos with balloons, get face-painting for the kids and even for themselves and of course renew their wardrobe.
