Incident in Yalta’s Confetti shopping and entertainment centre
A suspicious black bag discovered by Pharaoh’s staff near Confetti shopping centre in Yalta
About 2,5 hours ago the staff of Pharaoh GC, responsible for the security of Yalta’s Confetti shopping and entertainment centre, discovered a suspicious black bag at a parapet at the centre’s parking lot. Straight after, a police squad, an emergency response group and a canine team were ordered out. The area was closed off, and all the people at the parking lot were evacuated.
However, the detection dog did not respond to the bag, which the police later opened to discover two plastic bags filled with sand. According to the police, it can be counterbalance weight for a camera crane left behind by a movie team who filmed in the area yesterday.
On the whole, the operation took about 1,5 hours.
